They secured a 2-0 win to remain in Ryman League division one north.

Maldon took the lead through Tunde Adewunni on 17 minutes.

Alex Andrews secured the win and Maldon’s place in the league when he scored 79 minutes.

Heybridge Swifts ended the season in 12th place with a 2-0 win against visiting Brentwood.

Shamido Pedulu had an early chance and he hit the bar from 20 yards on 11 minutes.

Brentwood then almost took the lead when Tom Richardson’s header had keeper Danny Sambridge beaten but his effort was cleared off the line by Green on 36 minutes.

After the break, Swifts almost took the lead but Jack West’s penalty was saved by Brentwood keeper Sam Cole.

Billy Hunt then gave Swifts the lead on 72 minutes.

Three minutes later Hunt doubled their advantage.

Brightlingsea Regent brought the curtain down on their season with a 3-1 win against visiting Thurrock.

Matt Cripps gave Regent the lead on 26 minutes.

But Thurrock equalised from the penalty spot through Aaron Waters on 52 minutes.

But Brightlingsea retook their lead on 61 minutes through Jake Gordon.

Gordon then made it 3-1 to the home side on 76 minutes.

Burnham Ramblers secured a 2-2 draw against visiting Wroxham.

Steve Taylor and Jack Garrod put Wroxham 2-0 up on 37 and 43 minutes respectively.

Lea Pleasance pulled a goal back for Ramblers on 74 minutes.

Brad Nobbs then earned Ramblers a share of the spoils to end their season with a 2-2 draw.

Witham Town ended their stay in the Ryman premier division with a 2-0 defeat at Enfield Town.

Tyler Campbell gave the home side the lead on 31 minutes.

But they were reduced to ten men when Joe Ellul was red carded two minutes later.

But Enfield increased their lead after the break when Campbell added his second on 58 minutes.
