HEYBRIDGE Swifts boss Cliff Akurang is expecting a tough game tonight against Waltham Abbey.
Swifts host Abbey in Ryman League division one north at Scraley Road and Akurang is conentrating on his side and not the visitors.
He said: “They are all tough games at the moment.
“But the game will give us the opportunity to work on some things and for the players to familiarise themselves with their roles.
“What I want to see tonight is the players using the ball better and scoring some goals.
“That is what we have been lacking recently.
“I am not concerned by what Waltham Abbey are going to bring to the table.
“It is all about our performance.
“The match will be pretty much like the games we have been having recently. We have been against teams that are probably safe but can’t afford to take their foot of the pedal.
“So they will come at us hard.”
