THE wanderer returns for BRIGHTLINGSEA REGENT in tonight’s Ryman League division one north derby at HEYBRIDGE SWIFTS.
And barring a delayed flight, Phil Kelly - due back in the country today after a six-week break to Thailand - is ready to be plunged straight back into action at Scraley Road.
Attacking midfielder Kelly is a key man for Regent.
With him on board, they have won 15 out of 24 games.
Without him, the win tally is just three out of 16.
“Phil’s return is big news for us and he’ll be back in the squad,” said Brightlingsea boss James Webster.
“He’s a mercurial player who always carries a goal threat with his direct, positive style.
“We’re delighted to have him back.”
