Townrow is banned for 12 matches
BRANTHAM Athletic’s Lee Townrow has been hit with a 12-match ban by the FA.
The midfielder faces a frustrating few weeks on the sidelines after being sent off for two bookings in a Thurlow Nunn League match against Whitton United.
That earned him a one-match ban, but the suspension was ramped up to a dozen games for what the FA have described as “improper conduct against a match official, including abusive language or behaviour”.
