Wet weather causes chaos as matches postponed acoss the Ryman and Thurlow Nunn Leagues
WET weather has left today's non-league football fixture list in turmoil.
The most recent postponement was Stanway Rovers' home match against Fakenham Town, due to a waterlogged pitch at the Hawthorns.
An 11am pitch inspection was called following heavy rain on Friday night.
Elsewhere, the Thurlow Nunn League matches involving Wivenhoe Town (at Whitton United), FC Clacton (at home to Mildenhall Town) and Halstead Town (at home to Debenham LC) are all off, as is the Ryman League division one north contest between Heybridge Swifts and Brightlingsea Regent.
Maldon and Tiptree's game at Romford is off and so too is the Ryman League premier division match between Witham Town and Harrow Borough.
