MARK White is keen to play more games for FC Clacton.

The striker made a successful comeback during the Seasiders’ recent 2-2 draw with Haverhill Rovers.

And he stepped off the bench to play in the closing minutes of Saturday’s excellent 4-1 victory at Thetford Town, replacing one of their goal-scorers, Louie Newland.

The striker cannot even remember the last time he featured for the Seasiders, prior to the Haverhill match.

But he says the experience has whet his appetite for more and said: “I’d like to play more.

“It just depends whether I can keep training, because at this level I need to train twice a week, in order to be sharp and make an impact.

“I need to train and I need to be fit and I haven’t got enough about me just to glide through games.”
