We asked our readers who should be the next Essex Cricket captain, after the club made the decision to remove James Foster from the position yesterday morning.
We whittled the options down to a final three - long-standing favourite Ravi Bopara, current one-day and T20 skipper Ryan ten Doeschate and one of the county’s brightest young prospects Tom Westley.
The Echo ran a Twitter poll to see which of the three you wanted to replace Foster.
And, as of 5pm yesterday here are the results.
