Col Utd manager critical after heads dropped in four nil defeat

COLCHESTER United manager John Ward criticised the players after The U's first league defeat of the season.

He said: "I am extremely disappointed.

“The second half was one-way traffic and we were pulled apart.

“I saw some heads drop and people disappear.

“ A couple went missing. A couple were lacking a bit of leadership

"Maybe four was a little bit light for us. It could have been more.

“They got round the back, through the middle, anywhere they wanted.

“We lost our organisation and composure and went chasing."
