Colchester United chairman Robbie Cowling says he is feeling full of optimism ahead of the new League One season.
The U’s ended the last campaign on a high, finishing unbeaten in four matches and staying up on the final day of the season.
And speaking at a question and answer session at the club’s popular Open Day at the Weston Homes Community Stadium yesterday, the U’s chairman said he is looking forward to another year in the third tier.
Cowling said: “We always start the season with a lot of optimism and this is no different."
