David Wright believes Colchester United can learn valuable lessons from their defeat at Sheffield United.
And the midfielder insists his side must “put the wrongs right” when they play two pivotal home games in quick succession.
Tranmere Rovers head to the Weston Homes Community Stadium on Saturday, swiftly followed by Yeovil on Tuesday.
Both games could be crucial to the U’s chances of staying in League One.
Joe Dunne’s side are in relegation scrap, just one place above the drop zone and two points better off than third-from-bottom FA Cup heroes Oldham.
“We went into the Sheffield United game believing we could win, as we do before every match,” said former Ipswich Town man Wright.
“But it wasn’t quite to be, so we look forward to Saturday now.
“Our home form is very important and now we have two games coming up against sides doing very well.
“At the moment our home form is strong, though and we really want to carry that on."
