Clinton Morrison deserves more for his efforts, according to U’s boss Joe Dunne.

Morrison has not scored since netting against Sheffield United, in August.

However, the Colchester United manager has been pleased with the experienced striker’s efforts, over recent games.

Dunne said: “Clinton’s not getting the reward for the effort that he’s putting in.

“He deserves more but he’s not finding the target.

“His hold up play has been great and he’s been a great pro for us.

“He’s very important to what will be a good fightback.”

Are we talking about the same Clinton Morrison? I think you spent too much time with Ward and have become deluded. You need to hang on to what believers you have left Joe, comments like this are not going to help you do that!

JD took Clinton to Doncaster but left him on the bench. Seems the encouraging words were meaningless, for he probably, like us, has little confidence in him scoring.
