No surprise there then, we need to drop Wordsworth and a number of players. There's obviously something big wrong with the mentality of the squad, as the defence seems poor - always conceding, along with the lack of shots from the forwards, and the lose of possession from the midfield. When Joe Dunne took charge, we had 5 games where defence was solid, forwards were loving it, and midfield kept 60-70% possession, what happened? I personally feel that wages need to be dropped for these over paid idiots that think they can be lazy and under perform. Football players need to live in the real world and get sacked or dropped wages. Wordsworth, Morrison, Magnus, Cousins, Wilson, Heath, an Izzet need to be dropped from the starting lineup, and why wasn't John White playing? Bring in an experienced centre back and a solid central midfielder along with a proven goal scorer to keep us up. We are LUCKY that the teams below us are shocking too, until we play them and lose, and then drop below them.

Oh dear, what's happened to Eastman and White? Just looked at the BBC website as well, and found that we only had 3 shots on target, shocking stuff. We need to play 442 and drop the overpaid, lazy individuals that are not cut out for this league, and the players that are dragging us down, along with their careers.

We need a proven goal scorer, as we are in a relegation battle premiership clubs along with championship clubs would want to loan is players, so they get the experience of fighting, look at them, if not, then go to lower leagues and get a person that loves scoring goals, or even has shots on target. Morrison is a waste of space. Crawley are a small club, and we got thrashed by them... Sort it out Col Utd, you are losing supporters.

How rubbish!

Sack the players who are not performing! If I was under performing at my work I would get the sack! Why are footballers so different...

Why was Wordsworth even on the pitch? And dunne get a striker.

Looks like we will be playing the likes of Burton and Barnet next season. Will be lucky to get gates of 2000 in league 2. This could well be the beginning of the end for Colchester United.

I think both Eastman and white were supposed to be playing but were ill. That obv doesn't help, but simple fact is that's now 10 losses in 11! Terrible stuff.
Luckily again the teams bellow helped us out, showing how crucial the games against them will be.
We need some leaders, but also player that can back it up. Hopefully we get some decent loans in.
We done to Drey wright again though.

I personally don't blame Dunne, I blame the overpaid players. They need to DO THEIR JOB.

Bad sacking John ward??? Fool we were lower than we are now with him, this his team? The first transfer window hasn't even opened yet. Ward should have never been manager in first place and if club wanted cheap option should have picked dunne then.
Some people have short memories, the club was in the conference before (when of the clubs best times) so not sure why league 2 would be the end of the club.
We still have half a season to go, now is not the time for poxy Armageddon talk, let's wait till end of transfer window and see how we get on against the teams bellow us ( who in sure are all having the same conversations as us) before we talk about that.

Why did I bother to turn up today? I would like to ask the same question to a few of the players who played. Pathetic show.

Looks like Eastmond and Watt were the reason for our better form earlier on - they played with something to prove as well. Injury strikes and there is no fall-back solution. Just waiting for Portsmouth to be docked their 10 points - looks like we'll need all the help we can get now!!

This is an absolute nightmare with little expectation or desire for improvement because of the lacklustre attitude from many of the squad, Even if the management tend to trot out the right words to media and fans from time to time, they are totally out-of-their-depth and will remain so unless they can get something other than mediocracy from their players. And so far, they are failing on that score completely.
