Colchester United manager Joe Dunne has backed his players to recover from their recent dip in form and improve their results.
The U's host Oldham Athletic tomorrow on the back of a run of five defeats in their last six matches.
They head into the match level on points with the Latics in the League One table.
Dunne said: “I’m still positive about what I can bring to the club.
“Everybody will look at results but I think we’re making progress.
“I still feel that I’m in a position where I need to work with the squad in terms of getting their skill levels higher.
“They’ve very receptive to what I want them to do but I’m still training them to what I want them to do.
“They need to keep trusting themselves and believing in what they’re doing.
“You get these transitions in football.
“We’ve had a spate of individual errors that have cost us dearly but we must keep pushing."
