Fly on the wall to aid Colchester United's promotion push

By Jonathan Waldron »

Aidy Boothroyd thinks his trusted sports psychologist Keith Mincher can aid Colchester United’s promotion push.

U’s boss Boothroyd has been reunited with his former colleague Mincher, with whom he previously worked at Watford, Norwich City and Peterborough United.

Mincher also has experience of working for the Football Association, with England under-21s.

Now he is working alongside Colchester’s players, in a bid to enhance their chances of returning to the Coca-Cola Championship.

Boothroyd said: “He comes in and he observes.

“He’s like a third person; a fly on the wall."

I dont think you need this Aidy. I think the fans can represent the fly on the wall and be the third party regards the present state of play. Hopefully this guy will tell you Worsdworth needs dropping and to start playing some football instead of whopping high balls forward all the time and play with some width. Best of luck lads on Saturday.

Why should I shut up when telling the truth. Its obvious your void of any football knowledge whatsover. Your welcome to have your opinion like I am mine. Instead of knocking me make some constructive comments how you would like us to play and how you think we could improve.

For once Crazy, i'm with you here. I agree with you that Wordsworth should be dropped, hes useless with a capital U. He should have gone to morecombe instead of Hackney. But now that we have a bit of flair in the team with the likes of Vincent, Lisbie, Odejayi, Prutton, O'toole, i think we will be just fine. Hoping for a great game today UP THE U'S
