Marcus Bean is hoping his encouraging early-season form for Colchester United is a sign of things to come.
The experienced midfielder has made an impressive start to life at the U’s, following his summer move from League One rivals Brentford.
Bean was man-of-the-match in Colchester’s 1-1 draw with Sheffield United, last Saturday.
Having started all three of their games in League One so far this season, the Jamaica international is keen to build on a promising start at his new club.
Bean said: “It’s just the start of things and hopefully I can build on it.
“I thought that I played quite well against Sheffield United.
“It’s always nice to get man of the match and I’d like to thank everyone for their support.”
