Former U's loanee Antonio signs for Owls

Loan ranger - Michail Antonio, who had a loan spell at Colchester United earlier in the season from Reading, has made a temporary switch to Sheffield Wednesday.

Former Colchester loanee Michail Antonio has signed for Sheffield Wednesday on an emergency loan from Championship side Reading.

Antonio, 21, who made 15 appearances for the U’s earlier this season, scoring four goals, will stay at Hillsborough until the end of the season.

Antonio, who returned to Reading in November, could come up against Colchester when they host the Owls on April 14.

Antonio was a real quality addition for the U's. I would have liked to have seen him back at the WHCS for another spell, but that not now going to happen it seems. We can only wish him well and hope he has a stinker in April!
