Colchester United hot-shot David Mooney has admitted he is in the shop window this season.
The skilful Irishman has made a big impact since joining the U’s on a six-month loan from npower Championship side Reading last month.
Mooney, 25, has hit three goals in four starts for John Ward’s team since arriving at the Weston Homes Community Stadium.
The striker has already stated that he would be willing to consider a longer-term move to Colchester, if the opportunity arose.
And Mooney has conceded that his future could lie away from the Madejski Stadium.
He said: “I’m really enjoying my football here.
“All I wanted to do was come here and show people what I can do.
“I’m open to offers - I think Reading have explained that they don’t want me.
“I’m in the shop window playing here.
“All I can do is to keep playing and we want to push on up the league.”

David Mooney is the striker we have been looking for a while now, he can score goals on the floor, in the air and links up well with others! Last two years excluding Lisbie we had no killer striker, thankfully they have been moved on or are out soon, so we must sell the losers and buy this winner and we'll have a bright future!
