Colchester United chairman Robbie Cowling believes the truth will come out in the saga involving Norwich City

Robbie Cowling has insisted he has “complete faith” that a tribunal will uncover the truth over former manager Paul Lambert’s controversial departure to Norwich City.

And the Colchester United chairman has responded strongly to comments made by his Canaries counterpart, Alan Bowkett.

Bowkett this week described the level of the U’s compensation demands following Lambert’s switch as “ridiculous”.

Cowling told the Gazette: “The thing that I love is that the truth will come out.

“I have complete faith in that."

I hope you are right Mr. Cowling because the way these things normally work is, the bigger club do as they please and then get away with it! Whilst the smaller clubs just continually get taken advantage of by losing managers and players.
I hope the League make an example of them because this cannot continue to happen.

Ive read an article about this, The league has never had this situation before thats why theres delays.
They dont know what to do.
So as Harry says FIGHT. Cowling and Bowkett on the pitch having a punch up, winner decides.

Yeah I think that people would pay money to see that! But seriously if they get away with it then it sends out the wrong message. One day someone will honour and see out their contract or what's the point in signing it in the first place? Also there is that strange scenario that Holt was considering joining Colchester then mysteriously ended up at Norwich?

By them "Admitting" that they broke rule 20, is it a ploy to get a lighter sentence ie plea bargain!! They took "3" of our top employees and now they are top of the league, could that have been us with the same 3 men??

Just how much is that worth??

I seem to remember getting £400K for just Parky!

Yes and I think we got £300,000 for the Burley situation and that was 1996 I think. Parky wasn't as bad as we had some of the summer to reorganise
