Prutton completes permanent move to Colchester United

Colchester United have completed the permanent signing of midfielder David Prutton.

The 28-year-old, who initially joined the U's on loan, has been released from his contract at Elland Road.

Prutton has signed for Colchester on a free transfer and is likely to figure in their Coca-Cola League One clash with Carlisle United tomorrow night.

Colchester are unlikely to make any further signings ahead of the transfer window closing at 5pm.

Brilliant! A guy with leadership skills, and positioning. Him and JJOtoole in midfield is a good idea. Nice one Aidy! Hope his playing tomorrow. Up the U's

Great! Its good to see an opportunist player come on-board.
Following a great debut, let the man play freely, his set plays are a fine example for others to follow and learn from.
He looks strong and keen, long may it last.
We love you Jesus! We do...

Tomorrows weather, from what BBC sport are saying, maybe rain? But latey are the weather reports to go by?

Anyway back to football talk... Ifil, if your playing down the right wing, please show us some "Nani" skills... would be great! But saying that Vincent has recovered thankfully so hopefully his on the bench. Goodluck U's. I will be there supporting the U's and hopefully chanting "E-I-E-I-E-I-O, up the table here we go, when we get promotion this is what we will sing... we are col u, we are col u, and aidy is our king!" Glad to have you on board. I remember seeing you play for Southampton quite a few times and you was a very tough tackling player so im sure you will have plenty to offer. Hopefully Adie will play you from the start tonight. Would like to see Gilly given a chance tonight as Lisbo has stated he is dissappointed to not to have got a perment move. I have felt he has not been 100% the last few games and not the commitment he shown previous. It may just be me but who knows. Cant wait for the game tonight .
