Colchester United goalkeeper Ben Williams feels his side need to get back on track quickly

SHOT-STOPPER Ben Williams believes beating former club Carlisle United will be the perfect response to the U’s Elland Road setback.

Colchester United host the Cumbrians tomorrow night looking to get back to winning ways, following their disappointing defeat at promotion-rivals Leeds United.

A brace from striker Jermaine Beckford was enough to inflict a 2-0 loss upon the U’s, despite goalkeeper Williams’ heroics between the sticks.

The 27-year-old was in fine form against Leeds and now wants to help Colchester recover with a win over his former employees.

Williams told the Gazette: “Even though we lost against Leeds we’re going into games with confidence and we’ll look to bounce back against Carlisle.

“We’ve done well and we need to get back on track now and go on a good run."

Looking back a few decisions our way and it could have been a different result, but again you played well Ben keep doing what your doing.
Its going to be a tough game tomorrow and I just hope more fans brave the cold and get along! get behind you guys and we will win, it will also set up the Southend game nicely.....lets see if we can go unbeaten in February. Up the U's!

I agree with the above comment, your doing well, dont let the conceding goals get to you. You can still become one of the best keepers in the league, just focus. =) Tomorrow will be a tough game, but I will be there supporting the U's... will you?

I will be there. Im going with the other half to see just how good your Team is. Its only a game so stop taking things so seriously. I hope in a way both Colchester and Norwich go up. You do deserve better crowds and im sure if you was to get promotion you would have sell out crowds each home game. I will be wearing my green and yellow scarf tommorow and my other half will have his blue and white hat and scarf on so you wont miss us. Its only the third game i have seen this year at Colchester and they won both times so lets hope im lucky for you all tommorow,
