COLCHESTER United have confirmed the loan signing of Queens Park Rangers midfielder Brandon Comley.
The 21-year-old joins until January 2018.
It is his third loan spell, having previously spent time with Carlisle United and Grimsby Town.
“I knew it would be tough for me to get into the team at QPR," said Comley.
“But coming here gives me the opportunity to keep developing and improving myself.
“Maybe then I can go back and show even more of what I can do.
“I just want to play football and do well for the club, to see how far we can go."
In his time with Carlisle, Comley played 13 times for the Cumbrians in their chase for the play-offs in the 2015/16 campaign.
He returned to Rangers in the summer, before heading out to Grimsby in 2016/17.
He played 36 times in League Two last season - a stint that included the 1-0 win over the U's in February at Blundell Park.
