Colchester United midfielder Craig Slater has earned a call-up to the Scotland under-21 squad.
The former Kilmarnock man has been named in their squad for next month's Euro qualifying games against Macedonia and Ukraine.
It will mean Slater misses Colchester's Checkatrade Trophy clash with Crawley Town next Tuesday, in addition to their League Two fixture at home to Exeter City.
Slater will be looking to add to the five caps he already has for Scotland under-21s.
Meanwhile, Louis Dunne has been named on the standby list for the Republic of Ireland's under-18 squad.
