Colchester United have announced that they have reduced prices in all stands for their return to League Two next season.

The U's have unveiled their season-ticket prices for the 2016-17 campaign, with supporters now able to purchase annual memberships which they can obtain at any time of the season.

Colchester will also offer under-11 tickets for free, a scheme that has proved popular over the last two seasons.

The U's crowds were up by seven per cent this season and they are hoping that will continue in the next campaign, as they aim for promotion under new boss John McGreal.

U's general manager Tim Waddington said: "Colchester United fans have once again shown superb support for their team over the past nine months.

"We have seen crowd growth for the third season in a row and despite a difficult season at times, the fans have stuck with us every inch of the way, something for which we would like to show our thanks and appreciation."

Colchester fans will be able to buy their season tickets online for the first time this summer.
