COLCHESTER United boss Joe Dunne wants his players to adopt an “aggressive mindset” for their remaining League One fixtures.
The U’s are in a position to effectively stave off relegation if they have a successful Easter.
Oldham Athletic visit this afternoon before a trip to Crewe Alexandra on Bank Holiday Monday (both 3pm).
And Dunne is urging his players to have “tunnel vision” - to be ruthless, take their chances and pick up two positive results.
“We’ve got to turn up with an aggressive attitude and mindset,” said Dunne, who watched his side boost their survival chances by winning 3-2 at Stevenage on Saturday.
“What we know about being in this situation is that you can’t lie down or give up.
“We’ve got to stay focused, hold our nerve and not listen to a lot of stuff that’s being said.
“You’ve got to have tunnel vision and that’s what we’re trying to instil in the players."
