Dominic Vose has targeted a return to Colchester United’s starting line-up in their crunch clash with Shrewsbury Town tonight.
The 20-year-old attacker has been on the U’s substitutes bench for their last four matches.
But Vose made a good impression as a second-half substitute in Colchester’s 1-0 defeat at Crawley Town, last weekend.
He was unlucky not to score his first-ever league goal with a fine shot that hit a post and his display brought praise from U’s boss Joe Dunne.
And the former West Ham United youngster says he would dearly love to reclaim his place in Colchester’s starting line-up, against the Shrews.
Vose said: “I’m confident with my form at the moment."
