Jabo Ibehre would like nothing more than to rediscover his goalscoring touch against former club Walsall tomorrow.

But the Colchester United striker has insisted he is not overly concerned about his recent lack of goals.

After joining the U’s on loan from League One rivals MK Dons in September, Ibehre hit the ground running.

The 29-year-old netted five times in his first five games for Colchester but has now gone two months without finding the net.

But as he prepares to return to the Banks’s Stadium, Ibehre stressed his main aim is to help the U’s get back to winning ways.

Ibehre said: “It would be nice to get back on the goal trail but you have ups and downs as a striker.

“I want to score goals but it’s not too much of a concern - the main objective is to help us win.

“I want to score but I also want to cause mayhem and other teams problems, too.”
