Joe Dunne has insisted he won’t be pressing the panic button ahead of Colchester United’s clash with Notts County tonight.
And the U’s boss has backed his players to react to their shock defeat at Chelmsford City in a positive way.
Colchester are still smarting after crashing out of the FA Cup at the first-round stage at the hands of their non-league neighbours.
Dunne said: “We were disappointed with what happened at Chelmsford but we have to move on.
“We have another game to focus on now and the players have been great, in terms of what they’ve done in the league before.
“What we can’t do is panic, just because of one result."
