Natalie Jones has won a bronze medal at the Paralympic Games in London.

The Colchester swimmer came third in the S6 200 metres individual medley, clocking three minutes and 14.29 seconds.

Teenage sensation Ellie Simmonds won in 3m 5.39s, with Germany's Verena Schott coming second in 3m 14.28s.

Afterwards Jones, 27, who has celebral palsy, said: "I'm delighted and it feels amazing.

"I've worked so hard for this and I can't believe it was so flipping close!"

Former Stanway School pupil Jones, who has won two golds and two bronzes at previous Paralympics, plans to retire after the London Games.
