Apparently, Masters now works as an investment banker. So only wish the scumbag received a far more serious injury.
Winston, that's not fair. I met him, his wife and son. He told me he works in syndicated loans. These are a specialised type of banking activity but essential to the financing of large companies. Yes he is involved in keeping capitalism on its feet, but so is practically everybody, including you.
He seemed a straightforward and likeable person, but then people in wheelchairs generally are.
Whatever you think of the way someone makes his living (and I want to end capitalism as much as you do), nobody deserves an injury.
You are probably right, Boris. Sorry, I just read Wiki, and formed my misinformed judgement from there. Still, it got 'crazy' man going, and that's always fun."

Colchester United supporters turned out in force for Kem Izzet's testimonial this afternoon.

More than 60 U's stars past and present including Roy McDonough, Teddy Sheringham and Greg Halford took to the field, in support of loyal Izzet.

The Boys of 92 team lost 2-1 to the Men of 98 side, while Parky's celebrity XI beat John Ward's current U's side, 4-2.

A crowd of 2,028 were in attendance for Izzet's big day.

The only downside was the injury suffered by Mike Masters in the first game.

Masters was stretchered off and eventually taken to hospital after suffering a ruptured tendon.

For full coverage and pictures of Kem Izzet's testimonial at the Weston Homes Community Stadium, see Monday's Gazette.
