Ipswich Town boss Roy Keane has options in terms of loan signings

Roy Keane says he has “one or two” options in terms of bringing loan signings to Ipswich Town.

The Blues, still looking over their shoulder in terms of the relegation trapdoor, face a dramatic run-in, including seven Championship matches during a hectic March.

Asked about the possibility of new recruits, Keane said: “It's a big if but we know there's options out there.

“But before you follow things up you have to find out if a certain player is available.

“We've had good feedback from one or two people, but generally speaking our numbers haven't been too bad.

“We'll see how things go.”

Town visit Blackpool tomorrow and Keane hopes David Healy and Owen Garvan will be ready to play, having been in international action on Wednesday.

Gareth McAuley and Damien Delaney should also be fit, despite carrying minor injuries, while David Wright is available after missing out against Bristol City last Saturday.

Keane added that Lee Martin will feature in the next week or two, having impressed for the reserves recently, most notably against Wycombe on Wednesday.

Alan Quinn also comes into contention.
