Colchester United boss Aidy Boothroyd admitted he was disappointed with his side's second-half performance in drawing 2-2 with lowly Stockport County.

The U's raced into a two-goal lead at Edgeley Park, thanks to early goals from David Prutton and Anthony Wordsworth.

However, Jabo Ibehre scored twice to rescue a draw for Coca-Cola League One's bottom club.

Boothroyd said: “We have to get things into perspective.

“It's an away point gained but our defending was really bad.

“We didn't make good decisions when we had the ball so we had to do more defending.

“We dominated territory and possession in the first half but we got dominated in the second half.

“That can't happen for a team as good as ours that is pushing for promotion.

“I will have to give it a bit of reflection and see whether changes need to be made."
