Ben Williams will become Colchester United's latest summer signing.
U's chief executive Steve Bradshaw has confirmed tonight that goalkeeper Williams has agreed to join the U's from Coca-Cola League One rivals Carlisle United.
Williams has joined for an undisclosed fee and will battle it out with Mark Cousins for the number one shirt at the Weston Homes Community Stadium.
The former Manchester United trainee trained with Colchester today and could feature in their opening pre-season friendly at Tiptree United on Saturday.
