Colchester United finally broke their duck at the Weston Homes Community Stadium with a convincing 5-0 win over Carlisle United.
It ended a run of six games without a win at the new stadium and was Colchester's biggest win since the 5-1 triumph over Hull City in November, 2006.
The U's raced into a third-minute lead when David Perkins converted from close range after Carlisle goalkeeper Ben Alnwick had only parried Mark Yeates' cross.
And Yeates was on the scoresheet himself 11 minutes later when he converted from outside the area, after Kem Izzet had helped on John White's pass.
Colchester dominated the first half and were 3-0 up just after the half hour.
Yeates capitalised on a defensive mix-up between Darren Campion and Graham Kavanagh to slot past Alnwick for his second of the game.
U's goalkeeper Dean Gerken was forced to palm away Kavanagh's long-range free-kick in the second half.
Dean Hammond scored his first U's goal with a minute to go after slotting home from substitute Scott Vernon's pass.
And substitute Sunday Wasiu sealed a fine win in stoppage-time.
Colchester were well worth their victory and the only downside to their afternoon was another injury to striker Steven Gillespie, who was forced after just 15 minutes.
