FC CLACTON'S postponed FA Cup tie has been rearranged for next Tuesday - at Kirkley and Pakefield.
The sides were set to meet in an extra preliminary round replay at Holland FC's new W&S Scaffolding Community Stadium last night, having drawn 2-2 at Walmer Road on Saturday.
The venue was changed because of ongoing problems with the Rush Green Bowl pitch.
However, last night's referee called the tie off because he deemed the surface unplayable.
He said there were stones on the surface which made it dangerous.
Clacton boss Tom Austin spoke to the Gazette this morning and was hopeful the tie would be rearranged for the Bowl next Tuesday.
Instead, the FA have stated that the game takes place back at Walmer Road.
The winners of the tie will be at home to Ware on Saturday week, August 25.
