Colchester United say they do not plan to do any business on transfer deadline day.
The U's have until 5pm tonight to make any more signings to add to their squad, before the transfer window closes for permanent additions.
However, John McGreal says they do not anticipate bringing in any further new signings, this afternoon.
And although the Colchester head coach said there is a possibility of loan additions before that window closes on August 31, he is not intending to add any new players or see any of his squad leave, before tonight's deadline.
McGreal said: "There's nothing coming and nothing coming out.
"The loan deadline might be a bit different but I can't see anything happening today.
"We might have had to strengthen had Kane (Vincent-Young) not signed his contract but that's more or less us done."
Colchester added the likes of Frank Nouble, Harry Pell and Luke Norris to their squad on permanent deals earlier this summer, along with bringing in Aaron Collins on loan from Wolves.
The U's host Port Vale on Saturday, in their first home game of the League Two season.
