They won 9-0 as did title rivals Frinton A, after beating Dedham A and the Officer's Club A to keep up their race for the crowd.

Lexden Rackets and Fitness Club A registered a fourth victory of the season, defeating Kirby A 7-2 to maintain their push for promotion from Division One.

Spring Lane A are possibly heading the other way, following 8-1 and 6-3 losses to Frinton B and Lexden Hill A.

Dedham B and Kirby B were both victorious in the closely-matched division three.

There is no stopping West Mersea at the top of Division Four, notching up a fifth consecutive victory following a 7-2 success against The Essex C.

Curtis Austin and John Howe won three sets for Kirby A in their 5-4 victory over Spring Lane A, in Men's Division One.

Dedham B went clear at the top of Division Two following a 6-3 defeat of second-placed Frinton B.

Little Clacton moved off the bottom of Division Three with Gerry Borley and John Russel winning three sets in their sides 5-4 victory, over Lexden Rackets and Fitness Club B.
