THE conditions were perfect when Frinton Golf Club staged their Bob Turner Foursomes event.
The competition was fierce and Peter Outtridge and Stuart Grimwade came out on top with 38 points.
Ed Glease and David Partridge were second with 36 and Harry Sanderson and Murray Northover took third, on countback, with 35.
It was also a big week for the club's ladies, who vied for the Fiona Edmond Trophy.
Angela Low won the 36-hole scratch competition with a score of 179 and Marie Ellis came second with 185.
