SAMUEL Whearty will be flying the flag for Colchester Swimming Club at this year’s Cerebral Palsy Sport National Swimming Championships.
Whearty will be in action at the event, which takes place on March 25 at Harvey Hadden Sports Village, Nottingham.
Swimmers can enter a maximum of five events and Whearty has elected to swim the 100 metres freestyle, 100m backstroke, 100m breaststroke, 100m butterfly and 200m Individual Medley.
Colchester SC head coach Michelle Young said: “The CP Sport National Swimming Championships are a friendly and competitive event that caters for the needs of all active cerebral palsy swimmers from club through to elite levels of ability.
"Sam is a wonderful competitor and continues to work hard to ensure he will have a tremendous Championships.”
