U's to feature on Saturday night TV from next season
Colchester United are set to feature on Saturday night terrestrial television from next season.
The U’s will be shown on prime-time TV, after a three-year deal between the Football League and Channel 5 was struck.
Goals from every match in the Championship, League One and League Two will be screened in a new 90-minute show, to be aired at 9pm every week.
Channel 5 are also set to broadcast highlights of the Capital One Cup and Johnstone’s Paint Trophy.
