SPORTING Rebels are setting their sights on silverware.

The Clacton team have booked their place in the final of the Colchester and East Essex League’s League Knockout Cup.

They won 1-0 in their semi-final against Tollesbury Reserves.

The only goal came just after the hour-mark, when, following a three-man breakaway move, Martin Mina saw his shot well-saved by Tollesbury keeper Toby Taylor.

Bradley Westley was on hand to follow up and turn the ball into the net.

Rebels’ man-of-the-match was Matt Murray.

Rebels are now looking forward to their first appearance in the Knockout Cup final.

Their opponents will be Belle Vue Social and the final is being held at Stanway Rovers on April 25.
