WITHAM TOWN are due to be in Ryman League premier division action tonight as they look to bounce back from an FA Trophy exit with a home game against Hendon.

Town lost 1-0 to Truro City in the second qualifying round, but have done well against other sides at the top of the premier division this year and assistant boss Brad King feels they have nothing to fear as they face third-placed Hendon.

He said: “We have done well against teams up the top of the table this year and I firmly believe that anyone can beat anyone else in this league.

“There are stand-out teams like Margate and Maidenhead, but there’s not much between the others and a couple of wins can lift you right up the table, while a couple of defeats can put you right down.

“As long as we are competitive and give a good account of ourselves we’ll be OK.”

Keeper Martyn Guest will be available as his suspension for getting sent off in the Trophy game won’t begin for two weeks.
