BRAINTREE Town slid to their fourth straight defeat after losing 3-0 at Barnet.

The Iron are now without a win in the Vanarama Conference since September 16.

Tonight's defeat followed a nightmare eight-minute spell in which they conceded twice and had a player sent off.

Luisma Villa put the Bees ahead on 26 minutes and then netted again on 34.

And sandwiched in between his double strike, Braintree suffered another blow when Sean Marks was red-carded for an alleged elbow on a Barnet player.

Luke Gambin added the hosts' third just before the hour-mark.

James Mulley had had an early goal disallowed for a foul and the Iron also went close through Dan Walker.

Mitch Brundle cleared a Barnet effort off the line while in the second half substitute Jordan Cox had penalty appeals waved away after being challenged by goalkeeper Graham Stack.
