Father and son duo Tom and Harry English teamed up to win Playgolf Colchester’s junior captain’s day Texas Scramble.
The pair, along with junior member Jack Moutell, showed the rest of the field a clean pair of heels.
They won by four shots, after recording a nett score of 58.1 and shooting an amazing gross 64.
Mick Seaman, Darren Kerr and Richard Swindells were runners-up, after carding a bogey-free round.They picked up five birdies to record a gross 65, nett 62.1.
The event raised £200 for the junior section.
