Colchester United's under-21s will be looking to chalk up their first win of the season in Professional Development League Two tonight.

The U’s host Nottingham Forest at the Weston Homes Community Stadium, kick-off 7pm.

Sanchez Watt is expected to start after returning to first-team action against Peterborough, while Josh Thompson and Drey Wright could also feature.

Wright, who has been sidelined with a knee injury sustained in the U's opening-day draw with Oldham Athletic, was due to play in an under-21 game at Crystal Palace last week.

But the game was cancelled due to traffic disruption and Wright is hoping to get some match time tonight.

U's boss Joe Dunne said: "We'll see if we can get some game time into Drey.

“You can train as much as you want but the stresses and strains on your body in a game are different."
