Dominic Vose says he never considered leaving Colchester United after putting pen to paper on a new two-year deal with the club.
The 20-year-old attacker has committed himself to the U’s until 2016, after agreeing to extend his stay at the Weston Homes Community Stadium.
Vose impressed after initially signing a short-term deal with Colchester earlier this year.
And after signing his new contract, the former West Ham United youngster says he is looking forward to a bright future with Joe Dunne’s side.
Vose said: “I’m happy to get a two-year contract.
“It’s nice to have that security – it’s getting hard out there for players.
“There are a lot of good players out there who haven’t got clubs at the moment and have been released."
