Magnus Okuonghae has revealed the torment of last season’s relegation battle is driving Colchester United’s current survival bid.

The U’s boosted their hopes of retaining their League One status with an important 1-0 triumph over struggling Shrewsbury Town, on Tuesday night.

Colchester lie in 17th position - five points above the bottom four - with ten games remaining following their win over the Shrews and play host to Bristol City, on Saturday.
