Maldon and Tiptree fought back to earn a share of the spoils against visiting Thurrock.
They battled out a 1-1 draw at Park Drive to secure a point.
The visitors took the lead in the 32nd minute when Bradley Warner hit the back of the net.
Maldon came back strongly and dominated the match in the second half.
The Jammers drew level on 74 minutes when a Kye Ruel head a free-kick back to Ben Smith who volleyed in.
Maldon went close to taking the lead but were denied on a number of occasions by Thurrock keeper Andy Walker.
