  • "Yes Wilson may have well played 370 league games 60 of those in the championship, but that is in the past, you have to look at what a player has on offer now in this present day,and he is being exposed as a very weak link in every match,he is slow, clueless and his passing is shocking,i dont believe he would command a first team place in any other football league club on his performances this season,i actually feel embarrassed for him when i watch him play,he is no way captain material. He is not the only weak link in the side ,there are other players who would not make it into any other league one teams, but wilson is for me the weakist link, and the fact is we are just a very poor side.Come on Col U prove me wrong and give me something to be cheerful about."

Joe Dunne insists his Colchester United players are not feeling the pressure of a relegation battle.

And the U’s boss believes four more wins might well be enough to stay in League One.

Colchester head into their game at Crawley Town lying three points above the bottom four, with 12 games remaining.

The U’s are four points better off than they were at the same stage last season and have lost six fewer matches, this time around.
