Alie Sesay admits his first-ever Football League experience turned out to be a bittersweet affair.
But the Colchester United loanee says he is thankful to U’s boss Joe Dunne for handing him his league debut.
Sesay, on loan from Championship leaders Leicester City until the end of the season, made his U’s bow in their 1-0 defeat at the hands of Sheffield United on Tuesday night.
