As one of their leading appearance-makers this season, Craig Eastmond has established himself as a mainstay in Joe Dunne’s side.

And the former Arsenal youngster believes being a regular part of Colchester United’s starting line-up is helping him to become a more consistent player.

I am glad that Craig has established himself as a regular in the team. He does make a difference and we notice him now if he is not in the starting line up. I hope he goes on to produce a good day's work when we hopefully see the team again in action at home tomorrow. First goal for you, Craig- you deserve it!! Up the U's!

For me Craig has been a bit of a disappointment this season. Maybe the transition from being on loan and being a regular first team permanent player has been a little too much for him. He needs to cut out his petty fouls and really get his head down. He could be a very big player for us in the future if he puts his mind to it.

I think it's fair to say eastmond didn't really match expectations early in the season but
1) who did?
2) maybe to great expectation by us the fans.
3) last few games he's been very good.

I think when watt comes back and these two form a partnership they will be two of the best players in the league.
